The Longfellow Club's state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment is just the beginning of what fitness means at Longfellow. Our fitness rooms are designed to encourage our members to have the most enjoyable experience and to realize optimum results. The Longfellow fitness programs are created and supervised by our Fit-Team Leaders, Teresa NM and Ellen Thompson. Our fitness instructors and personal trainers are highly skilled and receive superior training in the science of fitness and in education and motivation. Whether it's on your own, with one of our experienced personal trainers, or in a group class, our top priority is to help you reach your goals in a fun and inspiring atmosphere.

Personal Training
For new members, we offer FastTrack, our discounted personal training package. Current members can sign up for our discounted Intro to PT package, 1-on-1, or 2-on-1 personal training sessions. Non-Members may take advantage these options, but at a Non-Member rate.

Youth Strength Training
Strength Training has been shown to be extremely beneficial for children as young as 8. Our introductory program allows 8-10 year old participants to have access to the lower fitness room when accompanied by a parent. Participants 11-13 years old can use certain equipment without parental supervision.

Longfellow Sports Performance Center
These programs are designed to increase sport specific speed, strength, and flexibility. Training with a certified Performance Center trainer is the best way to maximize both your workout time and workout results. We have programs for adults, beginners, and sport specific participants. Most sessions run 7-8 weeks and groups meet two to three times per week.

Fitness Orientation
Available to new members 14 and older, at no cost, and must be completed within 6 weeks of joining. This consists of 2 half-hour orientation sessions to the keiser equipment which helps members feel comfortable and confident when using our fitness equipment.

Youth Cardio Orientation
This is a complimentary 15-minute session for children ages 8-13 who wish to use the cardio room. The instructor will determine which cardio equipment the child can use. Parental/guardian supervision is required for children age 8-11.

Introduction to Personal Training
This is a $249 package of 5 one-hour sessions and is available to new members and members who have never taken personal training at The Longfellow Club. Intro to PT is designed to provide an individualized program to put members on a path to better health and fitness. Program must be completed within 6 weeks of purchase.

Personal Training
Provides an individualized program to help reach specific health and fitness goals. Helps with motivation, education, and accountability. Available to members and non-members, and can be purchased as a single session or in a package of 6 or more. Small group (2 or 3) training sessions are also available.

Introduction to Youth Training
A 3 one-hour program for children ages 8-13. Resistance training has been documented to be extremely beneficial for children as young as 8. injury prevention is just one of the benefits of a regular exercise program. Help get your children moving regularly and properly.
