| We offer this unique, ultra convenient childcare option for busy parents from September through June. These programs allow parents/caregivers to run errands and schedule doctors appointments without having to have the children tag along. Parents/caregivers may reserve an hour or a whole day, one day a month or several, depending on your needs. The program is also designed to fulfill your child’s full-time preschool education, or infant/toddler daycare and educational needs. Our daycare programs are licensed by the Office for Child Care Services. Children participate in our fun and enriching infant/toddler or preschool programs while their parents enjoy some free time. Enrollment Procedure: Parents must register their children in advance by filling out an information packet and providing medical forms. There is no registration fee, provided at least 10 hours of daycare are purchased--and once completed, children may attend the program as needed. A $25 fee for registration will be required if playcards are not purchased. Please give us a minimum of 24 hours to process your paperwork. Parents/caregivers register with the Children’s Center 24 hours in advance, and pay an hourly fee. We have a variety of classes offered at no extra charge. A schedule is available upon request. We also have an indoor and outdoor playground for year round active play. Program Information: Classes for the Infant/Toddler Program (3 months-2.9 years) include dance class, music and movement class, special activities, and indoor/outdoor free play. Classes for the Preschool Program (2.9 years-6 years) include art with clay work and other media, sports and fitness classes, math, science, social studies, indoor/outdoor free play, cooking class, language and literacy classes, and dance class. We are open on any day that school is in session, as well as teacher days. On most snow days we remain open as well, weather permitting, if Sudbury Public Schools are closed so are we. Our vacation and summer camp programs for ages 12 months through 14 years are held during vacation periods. Please call for a schedule and to make reservations. Our holiday schedule follows the Sudbury Public Schools calendar. Payment Payment is easy. All payments will be made with our playcards, purchased in advance. Time is calculated in full 1/2 hour increments on the hour and half hour, and will be stamped at the time of pick up. Playcards are tuition, and as such are non-refundable and valid for one year from date of purchase. Playcards may not be assigned to any other child, including siblings. Discounts are available when multiple cards are purchased at one time (please see our price list). Longfellow Health Club Family Members receive special pricing. Click here for playcard prices. Snacks are included in all programs. Lunch is provided at an additional fee. Please note that we are a peanut and nut-free center, and we do not allow any outside food to be brought in to protect children with allergies. Please stop in to see our facility and pick up a registration packet and a fee schedule. We must have these forms in before your child’s first visit. Please call our director, Karen Mahoney, at 508-358-0710 if you have any other questions. |
