The Longfellow Camps have offered fun learning summer camps for children in the greater Boston area for over thirty-five years and has grown to become New England’s largest day camp. Every year Longfellow finds ways to improve and expand our summer camp experience for young people of all ages. We have a wide variety of camps that give your children many options for summer fun.

Hammel Tennis Camps at The Longfellow Club in Wayland and Natick Racquet Club The Hammel Tennis Camp was founded in 1974 and offers five different camps. Directed by Phil Parrish, Eric Westcott, Jamey Finchum, and Eileen Roux, the highly trained staff of the Hammel Camps is what makes the difference:

* Challenger Camp at Wayland and Natick
* Zip Tennis Camp at Wayland and Natick
* Tournament Camp at Natick
* High School Camp at Wayland
* Golf & Tennis Camp at Wayland

Half day and full day are available. Transportation from Natick to Wayland and Wayland to Natick available.

Camp Longfellow at Wayland
Camp Longfellow In Wayland, directed by Karen Mahoney, has programs for children ages 12 months to 12 years. Based at The Longfellow Children’s Center, the camps also have the use of The Longfellow Club and The Zip Zone for tennis, swimming and basketball. Our CIT program offers kids 11 – 14 years an alternative to traditional camps.

Camp Longfellow at Natick
Directed by Caroline Donahue, Camp Longfellow at Natick uses the facilities at the Longfellow Sports Club and the Natick Racquet Club and is available for children ages 3-10 years. Our “All Star” campers (aged 5 - 10 years) go on fabulous field trips each while our “Champion’ campers (ages 3 – Pre K) enjoy special visitors such as Drumlin Farm.

Arts Camp at Wayland
Longfellow Arts Camp, for children Kindergarten through seventh grade, is directed by Lexington High School art teacher Erin Mahoney. This program offers instruction in a wide variety of art media including ceramics with our own kiln and wheel. Dance, improvisation and swimming lessons are included. Campers have use of the Afterschool Program’s “clubhouse” space next to The Zip Zone.

Longfellow Tennis and Golf Camp
This camp is designed for the young person who wants variety in their summer and loves both golf and tennis. Youth between the ages of 11-17 spend their mornings at The Longfellow Club learning and playing tennis and the afternoons at the beautiful Wayland Golf Club learning and practicing their golf skills.
